I was nervous about sending my son to this school but he wanted to continue the GLLA program and had to go here. I'm happy we decided to have him go. He loves it here. He joined cross country and track here and loves it. His grades are good and I feel the teachers have kept me updated about his learning. Every child has their own experience but my son's experience here has been nothing but positive.

This school is horrible. Do not recommend for soft-hearted people. You will most definitely get bullied by everyone no matter what. If you're Asian, if you're a Black person, if you are another race. You'll also get made fun of for your body. There's no mercy, the teachers don't care anymore, most the 7th graders in this school sell and do drugs and vapes, the school is horribly maintained, it's horrible. If you would like to do good in middle and high school, do NOT go to Brookhurst Junior High School. The only safe place is Band. That's it. Nowhere else is safe.

I went to school there as a child and as of 2023 I could say is one of the worst schools in the anaheim district. Staff are so unprofessional and they give poor learning I regret taking my son here.

To be honest most teachers won't care about what your kids do only some will care but that will only be the young teachers. Drugs and addiction are through the roof and they just don't care. Bullying is almost never handled correctly, there are a lot of fights here and for things that can be solved easily and the fight over the dumbest things in my opinion. Kids are very racist and most of the time use slurs to refer to their friends. Sure the clubs and classes are good but things are happening and kids can't say anything because they get beat up. Dress code; dress code is also a very big problem and not because of the feminism it's because they dress code the kids that wear baggy clothes but yet they don't dress code the girls that are literally showing everything. And yes I talk from experience.
