    Our daughter attended Austin the last three years. We had moved here from another state, and she was very anxious when she started sixth grade, but her teachers and the other students were very welcoming, and she made true friends, as did we with others in the AMS community. We are POC and were a bit worried coming to the South, but it is a diverse school with students from many different backgrounds who all seem to coalesce into a caring environment that strongly encourages academic excellence and participation in the many clubs and teams that are offered. Her experiences were in the science bowl, UIL competitions, orchestra and track. Highly recommend!

    Very caring staff and administration. Responsive to each students' needs and parental concerns. Variety of inclusive and challenging extracurriculars. Could not ask for a better school for our kids.

    Great School with Caring Wonderful Teachers and Coaches! They incorporate College themes into the school that inspire the students to strive for their goals including attending college making all students know it is possible!
