This school is terrible. Overall it’s just terrible. The teachers here range from good to just downright bad. There’s a bullying problem nobody talks about. There’s communication issues which are so bad that we actually found out about an activity we were supposed to do MINUTES before it happened. Overall this school did a poor job at what it was supposed to do and I definitely feel the need for change.

All my children have attended this school without any serious problems....until this year. I have never been so disappointed in its administration or its faculty. There are some great teachers employed at this school but the subpar/insensitive/biased teachers outweigh the wonderful ones. AMS seems to breed an atmosphere of encouraging its teachers (and some of its students) to belittle and humiliate their students. There were several times I would leave messages for a particular teacher or the principal to discuss certain situations and not get a response. How are things supposed to change when even the administration is not wanting to be part of the solution but rather part of the problem? I am totally disappointed and hope to pursue other educational avenues for my student who wants to learn without being made to feel like they have to schmooze to succeed.
