- Submitted by student on March 19, 2020I have been enlisted at Alpena Schools since I was in kindergarten, and my overall experience has been pretty good. Sure I had a couple of rough patches through elementary, but who doesn't. One of the huge things about our school is that it is so small, and that is what a lot of people love about our school because you know everyone and you don't feel as awkward, because you don't feel like you are talking to a bunch of strangers, instead, you are talking to your family and that means a lot to everyone that goes to our school.
- Submitted by other on January 23, 2017When I transferred to Alpena H.S. when my father retired from the Air Force, I had attended 9 different schools including California and overseas (Germany). I got the best education in Alpena. I went on to graduate from the Univ. of Arkansas Med. Ctr., having been fully prepared by my instructors at Alpena. Since then, their Science Program has developed into one of the best in the country and THE best in Arkansas.
