My son's been attending Roosevelt since 1st grade---now going to 3rd grade. Since the beginning the staff and principal have been a pleasure to work with. I've always been able to communicate with his teachers. They are very open to suggestions and think outside of the box. I look forward to this new school. Roosevelt continues to improve every school year. Kudos to the principal!

The principal and staff at this school have done a nice job over the last few years turning things in the right direction. Roosevelt received a national award this year for which the principal went to Washington! Sure there's still more to be done. But with all the budget and socioeconomic challenges Roosevelt faces, the progress is commendable. I will note that the school strives to improve parental involvement with activities like Book Blast which no doubt impacts student achievement. Keep up the good work.

The school is beautiful. However, the curriculum should be implemented in a challenging way. What happened to projects and book reports? My child can give me a story about disruptive behavior from different kids everyday. I wish the school would group the children according to their academic abilities.
