I do not have a child in this school , but do rent apartments. The principal Kathy told my renter she had to get a copy of my light bill before she would let her child in school. This is a company and what I pay is none of her business. Everyone here signs the same lease. The social security and the Louisiana Food stamp accepts it, but she does not. This is a woman who abuses her authority .

I like ALE my son was in kindergarten last yr. don't believe everything you read . yes the secretary and principal can be rude but only if your rude with them. I had a small problem at the beginning of the year and resolved it quickly. I feel very comfortable leaving my son in their care. I look at them as being protective not rude. Love the kindergarten program they did an awesome job very excited to see what 1st has to offer

Do not recommend this school. My child had an awful and traumatic experience in his first year of school , thanks to school principal. As long as Kathy Stielly is the principal of Albany lower , I strongly recommend to look for other options.

Extremely disappointed with albany lower school principal. She has no people's skills. There is no word in the dictionary I can possible use to describe her. Very unacceptable that she gets to be a principal. Who is responsible for this catastrophe? and I agree that office receptionist is on the same page as her leader. What of a future for our children when it comes to be educated. Leaders have to lead by example....

This school is horrible. Well the principle and front office.they refuse to let parents be involved in the school. And the old lady in the office is rude and disrespectful. I have seen parents leave in tears over how they are treated. They need to be fired so the school can prosper. Not allowing parents to be involved is not good. And the high horse these two women are on needs to be knocked over.

My kids like the school ok... But anytime we have to deal with the secretary i want to scream. When we enrolled our children in school she was so rude she had me in tears! I dont think the school sends enough home about what is going on..... Field trips and such.

This is an excellent school. I love everything about it except the secretary. She is one of the rudest people Ive ever met in my life. She makes me want to put my kids in private school just so I don't have to deal with her!

This could be a great school if the secretary was a little more kid friendly or adult friendly for that matter. She is so rude.
