My son is getting ready to attend his third year at the Lab school and I have nothing but good experiences. I absolutely loved the 2nd grade teacher. Since the public schools are so poorly rated in this area and the private schools are to expensive I have found this to be a great alternative to public school and the tuition is affordable.

This school has really changed and not for the good. I feel it is not a school I would send my children to now. Due to the situations that both of my children experienced were unacceptable. Teachers need full time assistants. The teachers receive very little help which makes the learning environment difficult for students.

This school has the best environment for a child to really focus on their education with enjoyment. The biggest plus is the parent involvement in every aspect of the school. We also have a principle who pushes the students to be their best. In our household, everything we do is done 100%.

It's mission is proper preparation to progress in life. The schools curiculum is excellent. It challenges the students to reach their highes potentials. Principal is very innovative and concern about the need of every child. Saff work in harmony with principal. When child excels they are acknowledged and rewarded. The children have concern and compassion for each other. They share and build relationships with each other.

The teachers at the SLU Lab School are the best! They continually find new ways to make learning fun for the kids. Reading is highly promoted through goal setting and rewards for reading achievements. The test scores are some of the highest in the state. Parents are encouraged to stay involved through volunteer opportunities in the school's PTO. My child's education is one of my highest priorites and I am thankful everyday that my son attends the SLU Lab School!

Strong academics and very qualified teachers. Not an "easy A" school. Kids are expected to perform at high levels and are very prepared for high school.

We love the Southeastern Lab School because of its quality teachers, fun, family oriented activities and the overall way the school "does business". This school gets it and therefore has great parental support. My son is soaring to new heights since joining the Lab School family.

I love Southeastern's Lab School because of the detailed attention that my two children receive from their teachers. They promote both academic and athletic acheivement. I love the small classrooms and the fact that the principal knows every student's name. It's a true community!
