I've been a student here for two years and both years have been the equivalent of hell on earth with admins, none of them care and are willing to throw teachers AND students under the bus to seem as innocent as possible. Several admins have been unwelcoming, and even rude to me and my friends for simply dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, had admins brag about suspending people, and an admin say that if I didn't have anything she'd find something. Not to mention the insane amount of blame that this school puts on students for things they could've helped with. Had an admin get mad at me that I didn't get an email they NEVER SENT OUT about OSTs!

Without a doubt this school is one of the worst we’ve ever been in. Sadly it’s probably the best of the APC system. My advice is don’t send your child her, pay to go to private or explore the online options. This school was a nightmare everyday and out child was terrified she would be assaulted by these out of control students. There is no control, no order, education quality is appealing and it is worse than you possibly can imagine. Forget these parents who talk about the talented Fine Arts program as a draw. Your child will be terrorized every minute there unless you were born and raised in that mindset and environment.

Firestone offers tremendous opportunities to its students. As an alumnus of the IB and performing arts programs, I had outstanding academic and extracurricular experiences.

Good school with good teachers but half the students dont act right. The teachers need to control their students so they arent ruining it for other people. Other than that its good.

I don't know who is in charge of it, but someone needs to look into a few of the teachers. Some are a bit crazy and probably shouldn't be teaching. Overall, even though I have had some dreadful teachers, I truly loved my experience at FHS. The school is huge and there are so many different groups of people that you will always find a group. I never myself had troubles with bullies; I wasn't the most social and really didn't hang out with people I didn't like... Haha. I had a few teachers in particular who I can honestly say were excellent people. Although I had some tragic experiences with certain teachers, a lot of them were exceptional people who taught me so much and really helped me with my life. Overall, I wouldn't change my FHS experience with anything. I am so thoroughly grateful that I chose this school. Thank you to all the teachers and principals who helped me so much! I truly don't think I would have succeeded without your help. :)

Bad behaving, rowdy students. Not as good as it used to be. Was once excellent. Now is chaos. Inner city school. No class anymore.
