I’m glad this school finally shut its doors. Our son went there for a short period of time before getting into a much better and well known local program. While attending he cried at drop off, but never complained much to us— he didn’t tell us much at all. We drove by the school recently and he tells us “I HATE Born Learners. I’m not ever going back. I HATE Robin”. I wish he had the skills to have told us that when he was attending. Robin really did a number to these kids in her final years with the school.

Robin is a terrible childcare provider. She has no business being in this field. She greets the kids with a flat affect, no enthusiasm, and is unapproachable for parents. Children deserve better than Robin. This is a daycare masquerading as a school. They do not care about the children or families they claim to serve. The staff are checked out and the owner refuses calls or meetings. AVOID THIS SCHOOL AT ALL COSTS

Robin is horrible to deal with. When paying a premium price for school, you would think that basic requests would be at least heard, but that is not the case because if she does not want something, it simply will not happen.

Based on all of the reviews from several years ago this school must have been great at some point, however when my child went there that was far from the case. There has been an inordinate amount of teacher turnover in the past year with nearly every single highly-acclaimed teacher leaving the school. All of this turnover, coupled with the lack of experience of their newly hired teachers has turned this once great preschool into a glorified daycare center. Based on everything that has transpired at Born Learners over the past twelve months it is clear that the director is running this place into the ground and truly has no concern for the well-being of the children enrolled there. They have absolutely become a daycare center while still claiming to be a preschool who's unequivocal top priority is profitability. The fact that three of their very best teachers all decided to leave within the span of less than a month is not a coincidence. Proceed with the utmost caution if you are planning on sending your child here. Do not let the five-star reviews fool you as they are all from two to ten years ago.

My kid has been going to Born Learner for over a year. We went through a couple of other preschools and Born Learner is the best. We only have good things to say about the school. The teachers are genuinely loving and caring toward the students. They don't just "supervise" the kids play. They get involved. The director shows great leadership and truly cares about the children. The toys are age-appropriate. The playground is not as "modern" but really fun for the kids to explore. Most importantly, my kid loves the school. I can tell he is having a great time while learning new things everyday.

Wow! That's the first word that came to my mind when we visited this school. It is everything you would ever want for your child. From the amazing and creative playground in the rustic hills of Agoura to the highly educated and devoted staff. My 4 year old has never been happier and it has actually affected our home life for the better. We searched high and low for a preschool and actually had our son in 2 others before we moved. There was no comparison. He has learned so much in just the 2 months he's been there, and also went from not wanting to learn one letter to being completely enthusiastic about it. One of the most impressive things about this school is the staff. Bea, who started it 33 years ago, is a speech pathologist and has deigned the curiculum through her experience. It's truly genius. Also, my son's teacher, Mrs. Gail, has a degree in early childhood psychology. I personally don't know what the other teachers qualifications are, but I'm sure they are just as spectacular. There are no 20 year old inexperienced kids teaching here. We had that horrible experience in our last school. This is THE greatest preschool in the Valley!

What's not to love about Born Learners? From the director on down, the staff is nothing short of first rate. These are established pros that are passionate about early childhood education which means my kid gets the kind of attention he needs. We pulled our son out of another school in the area where he was treated the same as the rest of the kids. Nobody there took the time or energy to understand why he was upset all the time, so in less than a month we pulled him out and enrolled him in Born Learners. This was probably the best decision we've ever made for our son. He's now 110% happy and he loves going to school everyday. The teachers there really care, and they love to take the time with us as parents to share what they see. We feel like we know exactly what's going on in our son's world when we're away at work, and we know that he's in the most trusted hands our salaries can afford. Thank you Born Learners for helping us overcome a real parenting crisis!

Our family cannot say enough great things about Born Learners & all it has to offer. Not only does Born Learners provide children w/ a strong academic foundation (in a fun & pressure free atmosphere), but it's also a loving & nurturing environment w/ the most amazing, creative and kind teachers (& school director!). Combine that with small class sizes & a fantastic well-rounded curriculum for a rock solid foundation and love of learning that will stay with them throughout their lives.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this school. I have two daughters attending and I couldn't be more thrilled with how the school operates. The owner/director is a wonderful person who truly cares about each student's particular needs, and she makes herself available to talk to most any time. The teachers we've had have all been so incredible with the kids, and so easy to talk to. This school presents academics without cramming it down a child's throat, and it's amazing how much they are learning even before kindergarten! Most of all, my kids are happy to go every day and often ask to go on the weekends! Can't say enough about this place. We are so happy we found it!

We love this school and are so fortunate to have found the little red school house on Agoura Road! Born Learner's is such a caring, loving place where my daughter really flourishes. We have been here since the Pazoo class (preschool) and are now in Easy Readers (kindergarten). I am so proud at the achievements we have made here. The programs embrace the children's creativity and individuality while giving them structure and challenges where they feel secure and build confidence. Spirit Days are so much fun- Ms Bea really knows how to create a wow with the children- from snow days! to pony rides! right there at the school. This is our last year here and I am sad to leave, but thankful for our time and the foundation that we have from Born Learners.

The passion the teachers have for teaching is amazing. They love what they do and the students worship them. One of my kids has graduated and the other is still in it. She loves the school and her teacher. She loves to learn and she loves to play. At Born Learners, she get to do both. Because this amazing staff loves what they do and they truly adore the students.
