School does not do anything about bullying. Bullying happens all of the time. I was bullied and was told inappropriate stuff. When your left out of playing the teachers don’t do anything.

My brother and I both went to IMS and we both loved it, I am in high school now and my three years there were the best years of my life, I know IMS is no longer but I feel like it shouldn't take a bad rep. I loved my teachers and the principles they were AMAZING!

My child has thrived at IMS this year. He came from a small rural school that only had 12 kids in his class. The teachers are challenging and really help him keep interested in his school work. He is very smart and sometimes a little too arrogant for his own good. His teachers and the rest of the school staff have dealt with him appropriately. He is making straight A's and could have not done this if the teachers weren't doing their jobs. Thank you to IMS.

When I had problems I literally had to go above the principals head as she was very rude and the way she spoke to me my jaw dropped! The do not take their bullying problems serious especially when the principal call the children names herself. In my opinion it's one person here that causes a lot of the issues. A good ship can not be run with out a fit captain.

I find it very difficult to understand how any student or parent would have anything negative to say about IMS the teachers or admin. This is a hands on school that goes above and beyond to make sure every student obtains their potential. They go above and beyond to make sure every child is motivated and recogonized. CHECK OUT THE MILLER DOLLARS PROGRAM!!! My children have attended IMS in 6th 7th and 8th grades and the admin went out of their way to make sure every need was met for our children. Parent involvement is a key factor here. If you are not participating in the activities at IMS you and your child are missing out. GET INVOLVED!

Since students at Independence Middle School don't have to wear uniforms, I think that school is great. Also the teachers and students are very nice!
