honestly, the teachers are ok they judge you for you in the bathroom too long. being in there for 5 minutes and then getting yelled at for being in to long they don't do much about bulling

Eh no one really bothers me so normally I wish people weren't using slurs every minute though and kids weren't getting bullied

I really don't get these good reviews. One day I was waiting from my 8th grade daughter outside of the Strang when I heard a mother say her son was being bullied everyday and while the teachers all said he was a great kid, none of the teachers helped him. The next year when my son entered 6th grade, I could have repeated every comment that mother made. No amount of teacher, guidance counselor or principal meeting helped us. The following year my son went into a private school and his bullying problem was solved. When we looked for private high school and began to hear stories from other parents who pulled their children out of the Strang and into private schools.

I was a former student! The best school! Mrs. Grimm and the staff are amazing and wonderful!

Having moved to Yorktown recently from one of the very "best" school districts in Westchester, our experience has been very positive. The teachers are supportive and easy to communicate with, each child carries a personal mini laptop, grades and tests scores are posted online and their special education teachers are amazing. My kids have found it very easy to fit in and love their new friends.
