    These positive reviews may be done by the teachers themselves. This school is horrid. Our children have been bullied, ignored by teachers when needing help, and is scared to go to school. When we spoke to the Principal she just laughed it off and started raising her voice to speak over our concerns. Our children are now going to a different school and I can’t say enough how heartbreaking this whole experience has been for us.

    We are new to the Yakima School District and have been amazed by how great our experience at Gilbert has been so far! Mr. Voorhees is a great leader and the teachers and staff are excellent as well. I love how much they appreciate and encourage parent involvement. My daughter was nervous about starting at a new school but she has quickly settled in and is very happy at Gilbert.

    The leadership, teachers and staff at Gilbert are amazing. They care for the kids 100% and put a lot of effort into making it a great experience for the kids. My kids love their school.

    This is truly a community of educators, Principal, students and parents that care about making sure each child achieves their greatness. I am proud to be a Grizzly parent!
