Overall, we are very happy with the education our children are receiving and our daughters enjoy going to school - it is a good atmosphere. Great teachers and parent involvement.

Hilltop has been a good school for our kids. Most of the teachers are top notch and while we did hear our boys tell us they were getting bored they were then placed in the gifted program for science and math which helped remedy that problem. Overall I would say Hilltop is a strong school where education is paramount followed by respect and caring.

My child is currently attending Hilltop Elementary in Wyoming, OH. It has been rated as a "top-notch" elementary school for years. Wyoming residents even pay an additional city school tax to ensure this "quality" education, on top of state school tax. Overall, my husband and I have been extremely disappointed in the system. In many ways now, we are deeply concerned for our child. Several parents have witnessed a high level of disorganization, aloofness, and safety issues in a short period of time. Administration drops the ball constantly. There have been issues with children being lost/left unsupervised during the regular school day and even after school. The after school program is a complete joke - the kids run around with no guidance and barely any supervision - yet another safety concern as a parent. The curriculum at Hilltop is not challenging and several parents have mentioned that their child is bored. My child has certainly regressed from being there and we are already looking into other options in the area. Please think twice before sending your child here.
