The experience my child has had at this school has been damaging. She has been bullied for 2 consecutive years now and when brought to the attention of the vice principal and principal it has either been treated as no big deal or the finger was turned and pointed at my child. After being beat up by 1 student at recess, the following day 2 other children made fun of her for the incident and proceeded to physically slam her in the face. My child has been unable to learn in this environment where she feels unsafe on a daily basis, to the point where she cries in the morning getting ready for school. The staff is completely unsupportive when concerns are brought to their attention. They refuse to communicate in a constructive manner and try to fluff concerning incidents.

i feel this school does not protect our children when they are there. we as parents are suppose to have trust and faith with these teachers and principals that run the school . well for my child i do not , they allowed a 5th grader to bully my child who is in the 3rd grade , as well allowed this student to threated bodily harm to my child and think it was okay and nothing is being done about it. come the next day this same student was waiting for my child behind a dumpster to jump her with another 5th grader. now me being the parent that i am , I bring it up to the principal and vice principal and all i get it were working on a safety plan and this student wont be on the school bus or school yard for the time being , Like that is not enough for me, since she already told my child she will send her to the hospital ( mind you this 5th grader is swearing like she's a whole grown adult ) clearly her parents taught her nothing. Disrespectful and no manners, and because nothing has happens this 5th grader thinks she's getting away with things. so as a parent who care about the safety of her child , i do not recommend you sending your child to this school. My child god forbid will not be the one on the news because of bullying in the school system . to many kids loosing their lives over this type of behavior. its unacceptable. !!!

This School is wonderful, I love this school so much. The teachers there are Magnificent they are so nice and help you when ever you need them.This is probably going to be the truest review you get because I have been going to this school for 7 years and I know everyone so well.

i went to Rice Square and the teachers are amazing spree day is awesome the lunch is ok but the school itself needs some updating i loved it there when i went and i will totally send my kids there some day

I do not understand why the last review ! It's completely wrong ! My daughter is a student at Rice Square School since kindergarten, and we love there ! Mrs. DiGregorio and Miss Maria are amazing ! The staff is the BEST !! Unfortunately I had to transfer my daughter to another school for the next school year because we bought a house far from it, but we are going to visit them often, because we are missing them already... I LOVE THIS SCHOOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rice sq is the worst school the principle and staff have no clue what is going on they have no controll over the children mrs.maria franceschi and mrs.kathleen digregorio are the rudest teacher aides i have ever meet i would not send my child to this school i am looking to transfer my child out of the school because i have had nothing but problems since day one and your concerns are not taken serious by the principle or school dept ... WORST SCHOOL EVER!!!!

this is a horrid school. my son is bullied every day. the teachers turn a blind eye. the principal has "meetings" but nothing is being done. My son was told by his class mate that he was being beaten at home and nothing was done. my son was pushed head first into a fence and a cop saw the whole thing and nothing was done. i am sick of the bullying at this school, my kid should not have to come home telling me he had his things stolen cause kids are picking on him and when he tells the teacher yells at him for talking or getting out of his chair.

scool is great teachers principal are always there to help u on tope of every thang keep parents up to date on whats gowing on .thay dont fight with u thay try help out parents and the children the best thay can.out of all of schools my children have been in this one is tope of them all.very happy with rice square
