Our experience has been wonderful. This is s great private school with hopefully the Upper School rising to meet the high standards set by the Lower.

When schools have resources for academics, technology, and professional development for teachers anything is possible. Both of my children have attended since the Junior Kindergarten program. Teachers are always up to date on current research and teaching methods, parents and students are always kind and respectful, and the campus is amazing. The only drawback for "non-rich" families is the tuition. Financial assistance is available though.

We expected so much more from Summit. Both our son and daughter's middle school, educational experience was substandard; the bullying and texting was not taken seriously. We have already moved to another private school in the area.

Having left a local public school (rated a "10" on this site) after a very uneven experience, we are thrilled with Summit School. The school focuses on learning allowing children to explore their strengths and work on their weaknesses while building confidence. Gone are the ridiculous standardized tests and the days lost to test prep. I only wish we left the public school system sooner.
