I have graduated from Winneconne, went on to get a college degree and came back to raise my family in this community and school district. This school does everything in its power and budget to keep our children safe and give them the best educational experience. Everything is done to make this kids successful. If someone is not doing well it's due to the fact that they aren't putting in any effort because I know for a fact that the teachers will help them if there is effort by the student.

I have gone to this district my whole life and compared to the others in the area, is by far the best. though we don't have very much diversity in race, we have very diverse groups and personalities. some teachers are not the best, but most are great. we have amazing STEAM and art programs.

Where do I start? The teachers are horrible. The classmates have no respect for you at all. They bully you and most of the time teachers just watch it happen and don’t do anything about it. You get dress coded for following the dress code. Many people are leaving, this school is going downhill. They always brag about how they are such a good school, meanwhile it is the opposite. I would never ever send my child there.

Winneconne is overall a bad school. Winneconne is always bragging about how good their school is and how everyone is treated equally. This is not true. Number 1 teachers. Some teachers are good but then you have your bad teachers. The good teachers will help you when you need it and respect you no matter your race. But then you got your bad teachers they will help you but not very respectfully. They will single you out from all the other students and treat you different just because of your race. Me not being a white student I get disrespected a lot. For example today I had the same answers as my white friend next to me and he said great job and gave him a 100%. He then comes over to me and tells me everything i supposedly did wrong and downgrades me. There have been many cases like this throughout my school career. Even throughout elementary and middle school I've been disrespected by students and staff to many times. Thru out elementary school the students would call me little brown boy and I would go home crying to my mom everyday and even getting physically bullied on the playground. In middle school the teachers i feel most of the teachers didn't respect me like they respected the other kids just because of my race. Now being a high schooler its sad to say nothing has changed. Even though they claim to be one of the best schools and treat everyone equally, its just not a thing. I do not recommend sending your kids to this school.

Winneconne High School is an amazing school with teachers and administrators who truly care about students. For a small community, the school offers many electives. With the addition of an auditorium and STEAM lab, this school offers many choices for students of all potential career choices.

I can't wait to leave this school after the year is over! Some teachers are good but others are jokes and this school is heading downhill the way it's going. The students are also horrible and have no respect for anyone.

Winneconne used to brag about it's small class sizes but not the classrooms are packed with 27 students a room. The addition of focus time is unnecessary and is wasted time by most students. Some of the teachers are alright and some of the teachers are really bad at teaching. I can think of only a few teachers that i was impressed by. The 12 point scale is garbage and only negatively effects the students except for those who might fail as it forces you to have your hand held and make it so you pass. There is no reason to go to Winneconne over any other school in the area. Also to mention the pta board is terrible, the management is terrible, and the school is bad at budgeting. It's no longer a friendly school environment and has become a mandatory memory game of useless information. However the Winneconne students sure do excel at drug and alcohol abuse.

I am a Winneconne alum and when I was in school, I received an excellent education. The faculty was very focused on the students and they made learning rewarding and fun. I also participated in sports and generally, the Wolves were at the top of the East Central Conference in most sports. We had, by far, the best pep band and our students usually did quite well at state competitions. I am proud to be an alum from Winneconne and I hope all students, past, present and future, are just as proud to have graduated from WHS!
