There's not a lot of bullying, but no diversity at all. The guidance counselor is extremely kind and helpful, and most of the teachers really do care about their students. On the other hand, some teachers are rude, condescending, and doesn't seem to know what they're teaching. Unless your family member is part of the school faculty or has connections, the principle/superintendent does not care about you. However, I admire WAHS's school spirit and overall, I think it's a good school.

This is a decent school. It s good at preparing students for life. Football is VERY important in this school. Like the other student said there s A LOT of favoritism. There are a few good teachers, and like every other school teachers chose favorites and very few are inappropriate at times, but who doesn't let things slip occasionally. If you only care about the education part, it's great, as was said, especially in the math and science areas.98% of the teachers know what they are doing and can help the students if needed. They have more technology then some school I ve seen, which is a good thing. I personally (not just me actually there are teachers that agreed) when students need discipline, the way they handle it is not the best it could be. Sometimes I believed that the school is more worried about the way it looked then giving education and help to its students, but I'm still half and half on that. If you are not an involved parent and would not go in and talk to them about things to help your child, then it wouldn't be as good for your child. Even with all its flaws, I wouldn t have a huge problem with sending my son here. This is just my opinion though.
