What a wonderful school. The teachers seem just as excited to be there on the last day of the school year as they did on the first day. And their happiness is contagious. I have a daughter with special educational needs and all the staff, both teachers and support staff, have been so wonderful. I have volunteered a lot and the people that work there always look like they are having such a great time. The standard of academics is very high. Students from this school have no problems getting into the local selective elite public schools. They have really improved their sports program and are in the process of increasing their music program. All around, this is just a great school.

Sending your child to SMCS is probably one of the worst decisions you can make as a parent. My daughter was there for 7 years. She not only received a disappointing education but was tormented by both teachers and fellow students. The principle targets certain children who seemingly have done nothing wrong. My daughter was suspended from the school for no apparent reason, and when I spoke to the principle about it, he could not give me a clear answer as to why she was getting disciplined. We had a serious run in with bullying at St. Marks but since the girl bullying my daughter had parents that donated money, the school refused to intervene. They care more about money than the mental safety of their students. I absolutely do not recommend this school.

I have three children in this school and they absolutely love it. Teachers are excited and engaged and really seem to take a personal interest in the academic success of the students. My kids are happy to go to school everyday and that makes me so happy. At the middle school awards ceremony at the end of last year, I couldn't believe how many students were doing advanced math classes. The teachers and staff obviously put a lot of effort into helping the students excel and it really shows. They have a good selection of sports and extracurricular activities. I can't recommend this school enough.

This school is decent, as in not the worst but definitely not the best. It is teaches the catholic faith very well to the students from a young age, but fails to teach students above and below the average grade level.

Unfortunately we had and our kindergartener had a horrible experience at this school 2016/2017. The main and focal reason being the teacher. This particular teacher (Kindergarten teacher) was completely uninterested and incapable of teaching and finding ways to reach a student who was struggling. When you are paying for private education that should be standard. My son hated waking up for school everyday and I found out later that he was berated in front of the class for not knowing an answer. I also believe this teacher is mentally unstable and was not able to handle hands on communication from a parent. At the end of the year, this teacher recommended my son be held back. I removed him from this school and he is at the top of his class in another private school in the area. It scares me to think what could of happened had we listened to these unintelligent and unfounded recommendations and suggestions. Please think twice before you send your child to this school.

St. Mark offers a wonderful christ centered structured learning environment. The teachers and staff are caring. The enrichment programs are excellent. I would give this school a 5 stars other than the fact the we have moved to the 'CORE CURRICULUM ' , which I think is doing a disservice to all students in the country, both public and private. St. Marks is worth the money. They demand high parental involvement which in so important for the students.

Disappointing experience, especially for Middle School. The teachers are not the greatest, except for the Science teacher. The mothers who had the time and money ran the school, and they were plain and simply, materialistic snobs. They seemed to care more about school dances and planning lavish fund-raising events than in building a strong academic curriculum. Don't waste your money.

We have three children at St Mark's and our two oldest have been there for three years. The staff are dedicated professionals who care about the children and helping each child succeed. The new principal is terrific - very approachable and dedicated to making St Mark's an even better school.

St.Mark's is not a good place to send your children, the staff members and teachers are very nice but not the students that go there. It also costs to much, do not waste your money.

We researched several private schools in the area and are thrilled that we decided to go to St. Mark. Being new to the area, we were able to meet other families and feel very welcome at St. Mark. The teachers far exceeded our expectations and made moving to a new town and a new school an easy transition for our children.

I love St. Mark I went there 1-4th grade and its awesome. I learned so much and was fully prepared for middle school. Its hard work but its good and you get a lot out of it. I was also taught how to be a good person!

As being a middle school student at saint mark, i am overall very dissapointed in the middle school. The lower school is good, but the middle school needs major improvement. As being a seventh grader, our classes have had problems with verbal and physical bullying, and major behavioral issues. Also, many of the middle school teachers are cold, and do not open up to you and I dont think they are good teachers. All of these good reviews are probably from the lower school. Also, the principal is very cold, and allthough she says all these "good" things are comming to the school, and is posting them publicly, nothing has been done. And, if you try to talk to her about something, she doesnt do anything about it. If you are looking at this school to send your child to, please, DO NOT send your child here. I have been dissapionted from the moment I came into the middle school, and i would give this school a zero oout of five stars, but you can't do that so i will cut them some slack and give them one star. :)
