I graduated from St. Ann's and so did my children. The school averages 20-25 students per class. The Pre-K, K, and 1st all have assistants. There is a great focus on religious values and faith. Teachers work very hard to prepare students with social and educational skills. The school is greatly supported by the parish. Students needs are evaluated to enable services such as reading and math assist, as well as advanced math options. The lunches are ordered on a daily basis from an outside source or children bring a packed lunch. Before care and after care are also options offered to parents with working schedules. Instruction is reinforced with the use of Chrome Books and computer resources that partner with their textbooks. I high rate and recommend this school for a valued education of any child

I was a student at St anns for 10 years. The student body is nice, but the teachers aren’t the best. The class sizes are very small, but that means there’s not many options when it comes to different types of classes.

Just wanted to give a shout out to St Ann's. They are doing an incredible job of keeping the school open during the pandemic. My child is in PreK. They sit the children at least 6 feet apart when in the classroom and eating lunch. Then when the children play closer together in the playground they are required to wear a mask. One child did in fact contract covid after Halloween but no-one else in the class got infected so whatever they are doing is working! They are mostly all women staff - very nurturing and kind. I feel comfortable leaving my daughter in their care.

St. Ann School is the best catholic school in Delaware. We are going on our 8th year here and could not ask for better faculty, staff and sense of community. The math program changed a few years ago and is very challenging. We love St. Ann School.

This school is great in some ways don't get me wrong i was a student there from kindergarden all the way through but if you want your focus to be in advanced math and things like Geometry are not offered there. The school is very small and may not be what you are looking for. I would pack a lunch. The school is great though, they teachers are so nice and the kids learn even if they don't know it manners and friendship. Even though the class is small you become very close by the end. The only problem is that the disadvantage to it being small is the lack of honors and higher classes, i went into my high school a year behind in math and i will have to take to math classes next year so i can catch up.
