I am completely in awe how much this school has assisted my son who has a learning disability. I cannot put into words the level of gratitude I have for the teachers, admin staff, and students at Willis High School. The special educations services are excellent, the safety of the school is incredible, my son enjoys his lunches, the school work is challenging yet appropriate to grade level, the preparation and thought that goes in to the students plans for after high school is awesome.

I used to go to this school and everyone makes it seem so bad but really it’s not, instead of blaming everyone else the children need to blame themselves I was also a kid that said it was everything under the sun except me when that was never the case, this school and the teachers that were there when I was (about 5 years ago) were so ready to teach everyone and give them some wisdom and it’s just gotten more things to learn since then considering they added an entire building full of college ready courses that you can make genuine careers out of!

Initially wasn't sure about the schools but we have seen tremendous improvement while kids have attended and graduated from the schools. We love the diversity, the special programs (ESL support, 504, gifted & talented), many clubs for the students to be involved with, many extra-curricular activities, and caring teachers, who actually care about their students and the students’ success. The high school prepares kids for college but also realize that not every student want to go to college so there are partnerships with growing industries to give students the skills needed for success. The district is growing quickly and soon will be one of the most sought after schools.

We initially had some concerns about this district due to the ratings. Our kids started attending Willis High School in 2019 and they LOVE IT! We moved from a district that was very highly rated on Great Schools (9) and our kids have just as many if not more opportunities here at Willis. The teachers actually care about their students and the students’ success. The district is growing quickly and getting better every day. We are so glad we found Willis ISD!!!!

Drugs and bullying are big factors ,also phones shouldn’t be taken up if teachers did not pay. Parents didn’t give the teachers the right to take a child’s phone.

This school is riddled with drugs, students are even dropping unconscious in class whilst others just laugh and shoot videos. The school were informed months earlier and failed to act, now this ! Keep your children well away from this school or they may only just make it or alive.

Willis High School is a great school. The teachers & administrators care about students & work hard to prepare them for the next step in life.

I am currently a student at Willis High School. I have attended many different schools in many different states. I will say that Willis High school is an excellent school. All of my teachers are above helpful and know their material well. I do not have any grades below an 82 on my report card, for which I and my parents are very pleased. My counselor was very helpful during registration and knew exactly which courses I needed and helped me select them. There are many different courses to choose from as well. As for the students there are good and bad students, but you should also know that there will be good and bad students in every school. The administrators discipline students who are troublesome and the problems stop. Overall Willis High school has impressed both myself and my family.

This school is boring. No varieties of classes to take that will be helpful in the real world. There have been several problems just in this past year alone with drugs and pranks. I would prefer Conroe High School which is larger and rated most challenging schools.

Wonderful School with caring teachers and students. All three of my kids attended this high school. Oldest has been accepted to medical school, middle has his Business degree and the youngest will graduate from UT with a degree in engineering. We've lived here for twenty years and still love it.

Willis High School allows the students to do anything and everything they want. There is no structure. I walked my child in the school, and there were girls dressed like they were working the corner in Houston. Boys walking around with full beards and pants hanging past their rears. When I went to school, things were different. The whole school district needs a complete overhaul!

Willis is a poorly run school with low standards and no guidance. We transfered our oldest daughter after ninth grade('97) and our youngest daughter during sixth grade('98) and have never regretted it. The public school system is a sham in this area of Montgomery County. With our youngest we eventually moved into Houston and are currently enrolled in a college prep high school offering much more in every area; study, guidance and morals.
