Tammi the PSP program director does not return phone calls or emails. When you finally get ahold of her through the school and church tracking her down, she is extremely unhelpful and evades questions pertaining to the program. Brushes you off to the website that does not answer your questions. Argues with you over the phone when asking questions. Why the program director can not readily explain the program that she runs puzzles me to say the least. You would think she would be excited to explain the program and take pride in what is provided. However, she did not. Which only leads me to believe that the reviews are in fact, true and that this is a horrible school to put your children, time, and money into. Disappointing.

We love it. God willing we will send our children here for all grades to graduation. Highly recommend this school.

I love this school. It allows not only students, but the families of students to develop a community of learning in a biblical way. I would highly recommend this school to anyone. When my children are old enough, I will be sending them here.

I have been impressed by the changes I have seen in the last couple of years. Great students, families, staff, faculty, and athletic programs.

I am thankful for the Biblical foundation my kids are recieving. The class sizes are small and there is a close-knit communtiy feel. The teachers are great at assessing what is working and what is not. I am very thankful for this school.

Overall the teachers and staff care for the students. The size of school allows for the teachers and staff to know each student by name and creates a family atmosphere.

, if your child struggles academically, has an IEP, or struggles socially, is on the spectrum, or questions their identity, Cornerstone WILL NOT support that child but will instead direct you to services off campus as their staff is ill equipped to differentiate to meet the special needs of some children. In fact, history has shown that at Cornerstone Christian School, kids with special needs are institutionally shamed, ridiculed, and ostracized for their differences.

I have never come across such sheer incompetence, insensitivity, and discrimination in a school as Cornerstone Christian School. The administration at this organization fails to prepare their students with the necessary support and resources in order to be successful in their academic careers. Students who desire to attain higher education must take the initiative in everything if they desire to adequately supplement their resumes and fulfill the necessary requirements that higher education demands (SAT, ACT). It is agreed that a student should have some responsibility in their academic career, but what is not acceptable is the ignorance that the administration of this school has towards aiding their students. Moreover, the administration of this school has failed on numerous occasions to display sensitivity towards their students. They care little to none for the true well-being of their students. Finally, this school still discriminates in an age where bigotry and hate are no longer acceptable. If your child does not fit the prototypical model of being heterosexual, then avoid this school at all costs as your child will be wrongfully discriminated against for the individual that they are. An individual who did not fit their criteria was wrongfully removed from one of their programs and expelled for a period of time. Do not be deceived by the facade this school has put on by claiming that they are Christian. This school should be absolutely disgusted for making a mockery of the Christian religion by their actions.

My kids have excelled academically, socially, and spiritually since their transfer to CCS. The teachers are committed to serving and meeting the academic needs of each child individually, and the office staff is such a delight to see in the morning when we do drop off. They have an international program which I think is an asset to the school as it introduces cultural diversity and helps the students understand that America isn't the only way of life. I will try my best to keep my kids here until they graduate, I couldn't risk putting them in an environment that doesn't hold the standards of Cornerstone. I do wish there were more extracurricular activities and after school programs, but every school always has one area they could work on and this isn't too big of a deal for our family.

CCS has been the greatest blessing in my children's lives. Every morning they wake up eager to go to school and learn with their teachers and classmates. The office staff is always delightful! CCS may be a small school but it has so much to offer all of their students from performing arts, sports, and technology. My kids have attended CCS since Kindergarten. My oldest will be in middle school next year and I rest easy at night knowing those transitional years will be a positive experience. Go Crusaders!!

Seems the school is unable to retain good teachers. Another year of shuffle and change. In addition, the number of International students is on the rise and American students on decline. How anyone teaches students let alone passes them in classes where teachers are not bi-lingual in Korean or Chinese is beyond me. These students cannot read nor write in English, yet are graduating this school. Seems to be a school based on buying a degree; a high school diploma mill. Scary, all in the name of God such dishonesty and lust for money.

Disappointed in lack of honesty and integrity. Community Care Licensing wrote us this school for operating without a license. Jr Kindergareten was shut down! Children were brought in with the false pretense that they were operating above board and with a license. It is a CHRISTIAN school afterall. This is all verifiable/public record. Mrs. Privett stated she thought she was exempt, due to integrated Kindergarten. Yet, that did not go into effect until this year. What about the past five years, Mrs Privett? 3 year old children mingled into the mix, the dollar is mightier then God at this school. Just count the imigrant visa's located here! Yikes! Not safe, not honest, not ethical, if this is what leadership exhibits, that explains teachers moral conduct reports. Parents had to find new school. Seems that the same old regime is running things" below the line", and behind locked doors. Do you not wonder why only office staff is kept safe and locked up and anyone could gain access to the children? Strange place and moving on out.. Public Record on all stated above, contact CCS ( Community Care Licensing) to verify, located in Riverside Ca.Substatiated closures for lack of license.

We have been at CCS for 8 years, and we just have to go on the record in saying that there have been so many positive improvements made to this school since the current principal has joined the staff. Many programs have been added that support student learning, like AR Reading, more Advanced Placement classes, the AWESOME performing arts program, technology classes, computer lab, new library, the AMAZING Washington/New York trip, and many more. When we started at the school we got a good school.....now we think we are at a GREAT school, and the principal and teachers have made it that way.

My daughter's first year at Cornerstone Christian School was such a success I'm sending her there all summer long! They have a great summer daycare program that continues their education and includes fun activities! My daughter loves the staff and all the new friends she has made. She is having so much fun she doesn't realize that she is learning. The school is under construction to enhance security features for the upcoming year....this is exciting news for anyone with children in school. If you have CONSTRUCTIVE comments or concerns you should join the parent, teacher, fellowship group they have each year! It's a great way to be heard and make positive changes for our kids. -one happy parent!

Parents do your homework before enrolling children in any school. Check teachers out on the California state website to see if they are a good fit teacher. Be alarmed if there are poor reviews and then positive reviews right after.

Seems like we have an angry parent who will continue with her harassment. Don't let her angry mislead you! Come and see the school and what it has to offer for yourself! My kid's will continue here for as long as I can afford private education. You cannot find a nicer staff and the small class sizes are worth the financial price of private education. Speak to your child's teacher and make your own decision. I also love the fact that the school has no tolerance for bullying. Maybe this unhappy parent should stop bullying the school.

I found this school when I needed it the most. Public schools were not working for my daughter. I did a visit to Cornerstone and fell in love with the staff. They are all so friendly and attentive to what I have to say. The teachers have a smile on their face when you greet them and the class ratio is perfect for what I needed. My daughter needed more attention from the teacher in a smaller classroom. I also love that the kids move together to each grade so they stay with their friends and grow up together. I have built friendships with the teachers, staff and some parents. It was just what we needed. I also love chapel every Thursday and my daughter comes home singing worship songs. Love it!!

Cornerstone is a school with great potential BUT it must first weed out the teachers that tarnish the school reputation. Before you commit to a contract, research the classroom teacher and do not be afraid to complain if something is wrong! There are some fantastic teachers at Cornerstone that work hard to make a difference in the students lives and they make tuition worth it! However, there are other teachers that should not be allowed in the classroom--some even deemed unfit by the California State Board of Education. Also, when complaints are brought to the attention of pastoral staff or administration, results are never produced and parent feedback is greeted with arrogance and tactics that serve to bully parents into silence.
