I have had too many issues to list and yes I agree with an above writer about it being a tough environment once you have any problems with a teacher. There is no reprimand for the teachers or even the principal at this point as the superintendent are longtime friends. The staff is unprofessional an hold no accountability. If you can afford look into another school.

Excellent school that has great teachers whom care for their students. Our kids both had slower transition acclimating to school and being away but each teacher has taken their time into developing them both academically and socially. I can’t speak enough of what a positive impact each teacher has had on my children and I am forever thankful for creating memories they will not forget and fostering good educational habits for my kids in the future.

Terrible, they only pay attention to the student with little to no challenges, my son was diagnosed with a learning disability and they are awfully to him.

BEWARE If you’re looking to enroll your child here, then don’t !! Coming from my own bitter experience with the administration and the teachers. I agree with one of the reviews saying that they all cohort. This is true. I wish I paid more attention before and read what others have to say. If a parent complains about something or someone, then the word gets out and your child gets on their blacklist and may not be treated nice you know what I mean. You can try to prove things, but it doesn’t work. Youre on your own. My advice for parents thinking moving here STAY AWAY

We moved here from a different district and was nicely surprised at how interactive all the teachers are with the students. The teachers have been great and very helpful when ever there is a concern. The principal does not deal with concerns in a timely manner and pushes it off to others, which is a concern. But the teachers are the ones with my children in the classroom.

Holly Hills is a wonderful school. The teachers and staff truly care about our kids. The school environment is warm and welcoming. The child study team has provided a wonderful IEP for my son and he has blossomed at Holly Hills. I am truly grateful that my son can attend such a great school right in our neighborhood.

HH is a great school! The teachers are excellent! My three children attended HH and had a great experience! As a more than 30 year resident of Westampton, now my grandson attends Kindergarten there! He loves it and is having a great experience with his excellent, caring teachers!!Happy Grandparent

We have a wonderful teaching staff at our K-4 school. The teachers really do care about their students - both current and past. They always ask the parents how the kids are doing when they hit higher grades. Most teachers are quick to point out if there is a problem - but open 2-way communication is a must for this. I have special needs children - yes I fought tooth & nail for my oldest's IEP (2 yrs to get it) and it finally took the Interim Superintendent's intervention to get the initail IEP. The Child Study Team is wonderful - esp our case worker. I have had wonderful experiences with all our teachers and really do consider them wonderful, caring professionals. Some people do not care for our principal. She can be a little standoffish BUT does a wonderful job. She has to take a business stance and because of that, she comes off as being cold. Working with her these past 7 years, I can't say enough good things about her. She will fight for kids (when appropriate), is open to talk (parent MUST keep a level head), & she enjoys her job. She puts the needs of all her students above everything. I can't say the same for our Superintendent - wish we had an Interim still.

The teachers have been great. The education seems very focused on math. That's not such a bad thing, just doesn't seem well rounded. If your child requires special needs or has an IEP, you will find out that they are very understaffed to accommodate this. You really have to fight for your rights to get the help your child needs. I recomend bringing an advocate to your child study team meetings and recording them. It's sad because they are getting funding from the state and it's not being used efficiently. The Principal, how do I explain, more like a warden than a K-4 leader. Not very personable. If you plan on driving your child to school be prepared, it is organized confusion and if you are picking them up its 10 times worse than the morning. They have 2 playgrounds so on nice days the kids will get to play outside during recess. In 2012 they opened the school 2 weeks late because they had mold cleaned professionally. What I think that means is that they waited until they had too many complaints and were forced to do it, otherwise it would have been taken care of in the summer. If you have the money for private school, you might want to look into that option.

We have had wonderful teachers during our time at HHS and have encountered many caring staff members, as well. As a previous poster said, the principal is not warm or very compassionate towards the children. She seems to lack the social skills and understanding of child development for dealing with elementary students. The superintendent is the complete opposite and helps where the principal lacks. Parent involvement opportunities are offered, but can be hard to accommodate for those parents that work. It is disappointing that no more than three parents can attend the annual parties to share in those memories with the children. Parent attendance for field trips is also very limited. Some changes at this school could make HHS a top school in the area, but if there are no administration changes, the school will not improve.

We have been at HH for several years now and the staff is very caring, warm and professional. The principal also cares very deeply about the children, the security of the school as well as ensuring that open communication with parents is established. The teachers and principal are very willing to work with parents and are very responsive to any concerns that come up. Our children love going to school and they are learning & developing very nicely. Its a great place to go to school, I would recommend to anyone looking for a K-4 elementary for their children.

My son loves going to school everyday is a great day. The teachers are warm and caring. So far our time at the school has been great but we still have a couple more years to go. I will say that I have yet to meet the principal which isn't a plus at my childs old school the principal was the first and last person i saw as i entered and left the school. She just needs to be a little more out there. Other then that it's great
