    Moving to West was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Our son loves West High School and the welcoming atmosphere he received when moving here. His teachers go above and beyond to make sure he understands the what he is learning and will meet with him whenever he has time to work with him when he doesn’t understand. He is also in multiple sports and all the coaches work together to make sure he is able to participate in all the events he wants to-even when seasons overlap. This didn’t happen in the larger school he was previously in…he was going to have to choose one sport to focus on. We are so thankful to be in such a great district who always puts students first!!

    Horrible school. Don’t believe the hype just because this school has a new building. It’s NOT all it’s talked up to be. The teachers are very unknowledgeable of the subjects they teach and fail terribly at parent communication. We moved our son to Connally HS and he LOVES it. I highly suggest against this school if you can help it.

    Fair to Good, but not excellent. Poor educator-parent support or interaction. Poor teacher-parent feedback. Glad my daughter graduated and has moved on to college.

    My 5 children received their entire K thru 12 education from the West School District and they were very well prepared for college. They have all since graduated from various colleges and are working as successful professionals in their chosen careers. As a parent, you can't ask much more from a school district.
