My children have had a wonderful experience at this school. As a teacher, I can say, their content knowledge is strong, they have a great variety of specials and the principal does an excellent job working with families.

We've been here for 3 years, and have only been happy with the kindergarten teacher. It's downhill from there.

My kids have had amazing teachers every year that care so much about each and every student! My kids are thriving academically. The community and parent involvement along with an outstanding principal make this school a wonderful place!

We love our school! Gregory, its staff, its students, and its families all rock! Very involved PTA and a great community feel.

If you fall in the minority community, stay away and buy your house elsewhere. Lots of favoritism in the arts and music dept.

Gregory School has always been a very important part of the neighborhood and continues to be a reason to move into the area. The teachers care about their students and the community in general is involved with the school. Children receive a good basic education with many enrichment activities. There are art, music, library and gym classes all in the regular weekly schedule as well as a foreign language component. In addition there are many excellent educational resources available at the school. My only compliant with education in West Orange in general is that not enough has been done for the high achieving students until they reach the High School where there are many available AP and Honors courses.

Being an older building this complex doesn't allow for a much needed auditorium but they do well with what they have. I believe the teachers are involved which is as it should be; but the before/after care program offered at this location is subpar at best. Not enough organization. As for the school, I think it meets standards. Neither terrible nor wonderful. I would say average.
