My two children loved Maple Road, the teachers and staff. There are programs available for all levels of students so that all are successful. Very inclusive student-body and excellent integration of special needs students. Many after-school activities, clubs, activity nights for students and their families.

Maple Road us an excellent school. Both my kids have excelled academically the past few years. The teachers do a great job working with children with all different needs. The flexible seating was great for my son's classroom this year.

I am only giving 2 stars because of the wonderful SACC program at Maple Rd, and 2nd grade teacher Ms. Hollick. Other than that this school does not deserve more than the minimal 1 star. If your child(ren) is a typical student who is quiet and fits in the box, he/ she will be fine. If your child has any issues: being bullied, learning disabilities, social-emotional difficulties-Stay Away if at all possible! The administration at Maple Rd is abhorrent, i have had too many terrible experiences to describe here. Dealing with the principle is like banging your head agsinst the wall, it all goes in one ear and out the other. My child has a mild LD (ADHD), and anxiety (which has been directly correlated to his school experience by several psychologists/medical professionals), the Child Study Team will provide little to no support. Your child's LD or social/emotional difficulties will go "unnoticed". Even if your child is classified and given an IEP, you will be in a constant battle with administration, & district Dept. Of Special Services to ensure that your child's IEP is implemented.

If you have the means stay away from this school if you can. My daughter went from an honor student in Bergen County to an average student in one marking period while at Maple Road School. March 14th, 2008 parent comment hit the nail on the head. My daughter was severely bullied to the point she through herself off the top of her bunk bed to not wake up and attend Maple Road School where her Bullies were. We reported the bullying to this Schools administrative staff and nothing was done. Yes, it is true, the Staff sticks together and cover up issues that should be addressed to ensure the students a safe learning environment where they can learn and grow. I'm an educator and I must say this is the worst school I've ever dealt with. I give this school a one star because I was unable to give it 0. Please parents if your looking to move to this town and have to send your child here you will regret it, this I assure you in the name of the Lord.

Maple Road School is an excellent school that has provided my children with a great environment to learn. The teachers are the best. I have never had a problem with approching the staff when one of my children needed extra help or was having an issue. The new principal is refreshing and does not put up with any type of student harrasment. I would highly recommend this school.
