My daughter has attended Weldon Valley for the past six years. She has enjoyed her teachers and school activities. Her classmates have been engaging and friendly. She feels safe while attending school at WV.

The school is an exceptional place to be! The environment between children is more like family, the teachers have a high moral and are excited and engaged in the classrooms. With small class sizes, getting the students what they need to succeed it attainable. The kids have strong school spirit, and encourage one another from preschool, all the way through high school. From the students, teachers, admin, all school employees, parents and community members, it’s a beautiful place to be!

My son went to Weldon Valley Elementary School for a single semester. It was such a bad experience that after that, we moved him to a different community so that he could go to a different school. He learned nothing and became much more withdrawn. Children on the bus and in the classrooms were extremely disruptive and disrespectful. He was the new kid in town and bullied to the point of tears almost daily. When we discussed this with the teacher, she did not even mention it to the principal or superintendent and she did nothing to stop it from occuring or to support my child. When we went to the principal and superintendent, they had no clue that this was occurring. Although they did want to review cameras and talk to the teacher, at this point, it was too late. My son had been damaged enough by this environment. Very disappointed in this school and would not recommend moving into this area as it is the only school around.
