I graduated from St. Rita School as did my, sister, wife, and daughter. St Rita School provided the very best educational value without exception.

Strong sense of community, small enough for all parents to feel included. Traditional in its views and teachings.

I give St. Rita School 5 stars and encourage any prospective family to visit the school. The children, parents and faculty all work very well together to make it a fun experience for all.

I agree with reviewer about sub-par academics. Cliques rival high school and that applies to students AND parents. Consistent special/preferential treatment of certain children/families.

St. Rita's is a wonderful school which I highly recommend to any family looking for a well-rounded education. Academics is highly valued and religious themes are woven throughout the classes and extracurricular activities each and every day, which makes God a consistent presence and force in my child's life. The anti-bullying program and policies teach every student how to be respectful to others and the importance of being a role-model. I can not put a 'value' on the positive environment that this encourages throughout the school - as my son (and the other children) learn the importance of valuing Jesus, Others, and Yourself (JOY). My son is in a safe, fun, encouraging, and loving environment everyday - a parent could not wish for more for their children.

I was extremely unhappy with this school when I had to move my child's school was closed.Not only did I find it sub-par academically, but I've never come across such "cliqueiness" in a Catholic school in my life! I didn't even let her finish 6th grade here. I have since moved her to a public school where although a bit behind, she is doing better academically and has made some terrific new friends! I'd suggest looking elsewhere in the Rochester, NY Catholic School system for a better school!
