Some teachers don't listen/ acknowledge your thoughts and/ or feelings of students. I had to persuade on of my teachers and even got called down to the counselor over them not using my preferred name. Another one of my teachers got mad that I wasn't early and wouldn't even let me give my reasoning. I wasn't early because my previous period's teacher forgot it was an early release day and forgot to go let us dress out. (We were in gym, and Wednesdays we have early release which requires shorter periods.) Teachers like these are very strict and it's just not one occasion Some teachers are too laid-back and the classes get extremely loud and out of hand. There are few kind teachers and I feel that in an environment where you should act accordingly you shouldn't express your anger in an unneeded manner, and respect what children want to go by and not use the fact that it's 'not in the records' and, 'I have so many kids it will be hard to remember,' because once the counselor talked with the teacher again, they easily used my preferred name. When one gets bullied and reports it to a teacher or the principal, it doesn't stop until multiple reports. Other than that, the dances are nice, and there are good people there too, just not my forte. Art assignments aren't creative either, it's rather boring. The art teacher is too laid back and the student just walk all over them. Overall I don't recommend this school. Take my word for it or not, I'm just a kid.

this school only gives help to the kids who have special needs. not the average student. also when it comes to filtering what the kids say to each other, it doesn't happen. there is more bullying at this school than any school my kids have been to, and the staff punish the kids who stick up for themselves, not the one doing the bullying. it's said that our tax dollars go to these people! my one child who has needs in school, they said "well she will probably be able to work at McDonald's."
