I graduated from this school in 1983. It gave me a second opportunity at a time of my life to get back on track when I needed it the most. Because of the structure of the curriculum, I was able to catch-up with many of the courses I had flunked out of in my original high school and graduate on time. Today, I have been able to successfully complete both my undergrad and a dual Masters at Trinity College in DC because of some of the foundations I gained at DC Street Academy being there with teachers who truly believed in me and it made a difference.

I was a student here, and graduated in 1971; at that time it was called Postal Street Academy, then DC Street Academy. I'm a testimony to its success, and I have the utmost gratitude for the Teachers and other staff. Bless them all...

This school is very impressive to me. My daughter has been attendimg there since December 2014 and I must say she has made a change dramatically as far as grades and her attitude toward learning. I am so glad to see that she is finally learning and getting her credits top graduate in the future. The staff have made her so confident and responsible for what she wants out of life.

Moore is a well run school with supportive faculty and staff members. Students truely benefit from small classroom settings and have the ability to recover credits faster than in a traditional school setting.

My name is valencia and I would like to attend Luke C. Moore because it is better than Dunbar SHS because every since 9th grade they havn't been doing anything for me. From people that attends Luke c.Moore I'veheard it gives you better education oppurtunites and helps youget in your right grade. I think this school would be a better oppurtunity for me to be headed down the right path.
