Not a good school with all the bullying

Seems to be a disconnect with the principal and discipline as children are constantly picking on eachother or singling out one student without any repercussions. Mean/cliques. It’s just sad.

Just like other comments here my child has also had bullying issues here. Me. Susla doesn’t do anything to stop the bully. Either he doesn’t know how to handle it or chooses not to.

My daughter has been relentlessly harassed by other children at Lippitt. Free time is understaffed. Nobody is held accountable and it never ends. Email and document every incident. Private school is cheaper than the cost of the amount of therapy your daughter/son is going to need if they go here.

This school has a lot of great teachers but Mr. Susla is incompetent to run this school . He has harmed and failed more children than he has helped. He seems fine, until your child needs his help and protection. He says he willtake care of things and doesn't follow through with anything he says. He needs to retire

The teachers at Lippitt are nothing short of amazing. They are the backbone to this school. The principle Martin susla is biased and does not follow district, state and federal polices put into place to prevent and protect children from bullying especially children with developmental disabilities. My son with disabilities was punched in the face by another peer, and both children were sent back to class. My son received no support services, and I never even received a phone call to inform me. My son suffered severe emotional distress over this incident my son is diagnose with high functioning autism, mixed anxiety and depressed mood, Tourette's, adhd combined and dysgraphia.Martin did not feel it was urgent to notify me, because my child with disabilities said it didn't hurt. The psychological impact of this was never taken into account and my son has emotionally spiraled after this. It is truly heartbreaking the way Martin handles these poor children at this school

It is an OK school. The quality of students has decreased significantly and there is ALWAYS lice in someone’s classroom , every other month we get a letter /email about it. The parents involvement is also low but that’s what happens when you have parents that live paycheck to paycheck they don’t have the free time .

We love Lippitt Elementary! It feels like such a small community and they really seem to care about the children that attend their school. Big thank you to Mr. Susla and all staff for the hard work they put in!!!

What a huge difference a new principal and an involved PTO can do. This school is great now, monthly events, teacher participation, and a large influx of technology. Also the facilities are nice as they have AC for the hot months!

I am a former student of Lippitt Elementary School and am now in the 7th grade and I went to Lippitt grades 1-6. I have to say that Lippitt is a very good school. The teachers are very loving and helpful to each and every one of their students. I always felt comfortable around my classmates and my teachers. I would highly recommended going to this school. The teachers always try their best to help their students with anything that they can. From experience, I can say that Lippitt is a school worth trying. I have gotten a close relationship with each of my teachers. I love this school so much that I even go and visit every chance that I get. So if you are ready to put your child into elementary school, I recommend lippitt :)

I do not recommend this school to anyone with children that have disabilities I have had nothing but problems with this school and how they handle any issues that comes up they need to have staff that know how to talk to children and LISTEN to the children as well
