1/5 I was a student at this school for over 4 years ( I am in my twenties and in college now). I had been bullied by many of the kids in my grade and even have had a lunch detention for trying to defend myself from a comment hear by the teacher directed towards me from another student. This school not only was un academically supportive (I had over a 4.0 gpa after I left the school) but I was also not emotionally supported. I would not recommend this school to anyone who did not already start their child in the school from a younger year since the children not the teachers were not kind to transfers

SJR has been an incredible experience both as parents and students. The community is tight knit and the quality of education is very much like a private academy. Students are challenged and excel in academic and are recognized for their achievements. We could have chosen Central Bucks, but deliberately chose SJR for its reputation and quality education in an academy setting. Their size is really their strength.

WE LIVE THE SCHOOL MOTTO--ONE FAITH,ONE FAMILY,ONE SJR. This is a community of caring students, teachers and parents. There is so much more than excellent academics being taught here. We could go to any of the wonderful schools here in central bucks, but at SJR, my children are able to practice their faith without judgement in a world that has lost the focus on God and family. We love this place.

My son has been going to SJR for two years and he loves it. The principal is wonderful and easy to talk to. Parents are encouraged to be a part of the school community and give feedback to the principal/teachers. All of the children in various grades know each other and are taught to respect each other. The school feels like a family. I would definitely recommend SJR.
