I was a student here, because i was a different race the staff treated me differently, they also favored other students above some others, staff is really bad at treating special students, some students would not get in trouble for things that they did like bullying anad curing at other students, most teachers did not care, worst school ever please do not ever send your kid here..

My child has attended this school since 2nd grade and I use to love the staff, and overall school. The pandemic came when my son was in 4th grade and that’s when the school went downhill. The children basically had to teach themselves on a computer. They didn’t return to in person learning until he was in the 6th grade. He returned to a classroom of 30 plus students and 1 teacher. My son academic growth has declined since returning to this school. They never call concerning grades but let him be talking to a classmate he was being disruptive so let me call his parent! The teachers are not teaching our children they are just throwing assignments at them and hoping that the students catch on. I’m so disappointed in this school and my child will not be returning in the fall.

I dont think this school is great for your child they show favoritism and accuse students of hacking into the school when they do not do anything

When I attended this school my teacher complained about the books I was reading. First the Halo novel then the resident evil novels. She threw my copy of Hunt for the Red October in the garbage. If that b*tch choppa still is there she just pulls favoritism when it comes to dealing with students. This school was and is a mess.

My God Son attends this school and I have heard nothing but great things about the education here. He has excelled a great deal. He was already an exceptionally smart child. With the challenges that the teachers at Great Oak give him, I have not doubt that he is going to continue to do great.

This is m sons third year at Great Oaks academy, I love this school. My son has grown from day 1 at this school. He loves going to school everyday to learn, he comes home excited about his teacher and what he learned. The teachers are very decaded to teaching their students, they make sure each students understand and are able to complete assignments before moving to the next. Tutoring is recommanded if the teacher feels the student needs it. The staff is always visable outside assistanting students upon arrival and dismissle for their safety. It's said that it takes a village to teach a child, I feel that village is Great Oaks Acaddemy.

This school offers a great curriculum for the students that really challenges them on a daily basis. I have seen a lot of growth from my children since they have been at this school. I welcome all parents that are looking for a great school to choose Great Oaks Academy as their first choice. The school always welcome the parents to get involved with activities involving the school, and have an open door policy.

Great Oaks is a good school, but there is a high turnover of teachers. The principal is passionate, dedicated and extremely involved.
