Curriculum is lacking a bit. Reading standards are laughable. Bullying wasn't handled properly in the slightest. It seems that the staff attempts to reconcile but falls short each time. I've been told that both religion and politics have been "discussed" multiple times as well with more opinion than factual representation for one side or another. Also unacceptable to me. The school seems to be attempting to improve. Time will tell.

My daughter started going here in February 2014. I love the the school and so does she. It makes me very happy to have her come home and talk about how exciting her day was. Love the school and the teachers!

This building is dilapidated and badly in need of replacement, after changing my child from city school system to County I see why I was advised on the many downfalls of county versus city in East Tennessee. The staff seems okay, but the criteria is extremely weak. My child can keep up with the next grade level and is taking naps, as if it were a daycare facility. I am disappointed and wonder when this school will be replaced. Although, keep in mind, that my child is only in kindergarten, so I am just learning the ins and outs. But, in my opinion, the county should review criteria as well as the condition of its facilities.
