Wakarusa Elementary has gone above and beyond helping my child with speech and reading/writing disabilities. They have him working not only with a speech therapist but also an interventionist amd recently employed a mental health counselor. With their help he has gone from frustration and anger to being excited to read.

Great school that challenges my children. I saw a huge difference in curriculum and values once I switched my kids into wakarusa elementary school! Very friendly and family oriented school system.

My kids have been to several schools before we came to this town, and this is the best public school we have ever experienced! It is a tight knit school and community where everyone encourages and supports each other, and my kids are thriving!

Great school in a fantastic community. The curriculum is clear and shared with parents. There are many opportunities to get involved.

I think that this is a great school. I do not believe that they condone bullies and feel that they try very hard to discourage this type of behavior. From my experience it is not a common occurence. The teachers care a great deal about their students and my son loves going to school.
