We are so relieved as parents to have this school close by. Not only is it close , it is top notch , the teachers and staff are loving and caring people. It is especially important during the pandemic to have such a safe place for our children. I highly recommend ECS.

We love this school, it’s principal, teachers and staff! We are personal friends with them, as well. We have only words of praise for the wonderful job they are doing, their personal love of and sincere dedication to the school, it’s mission and their students. They are NOT doing this for the money. Other teachers, schools, and educational facilities are rolling in the dough compared to Emmanuel, yet Emmanuel does what they do and they do it WELL...all on a mere pittance compared (teachers salaries are less then half what public school teachers receive, if that helps). They don’t have the funds, but they have the heart, the determination, the drive and the desire to love these kids and educate them according to Godly principles, and they DO. More money does NOT equal more, or better, education. (My grandfather was a public school principal, my father a public school teacher, my aunts, uncles and cousins all teachers, and myself. I have taught, written published educational material, and successfully implemented my own curriculum in my classes. I have also worked in community colleges for many years. I know good teaching and educational facilities when I see them, and Emmanuel is it, in spades.)Our son has attended here for 2 years, and we fully intend for him to complete the entire K-12 schedule. He’s only in 3rd grade, btw. We have a younger son who will begin K in the fall. Two families we know very well have sent all of their children here for the last 20 years. These students are amazing people, and part of that is due to the education they have received from attending Emmanuel Christian (the other part being God and their parents). If we didn’t recognize the importance of Emmanuel and it’s extremely positive effect on these wonderful young men and women of God, we wouldn’t be sending our children there. These families have sacrificed monthly for 20 years to be able to send their children to this great school, and we will, too, and that’s how much we believe in it!

I attended this school and graduated from there. You get what you put in. I went to college afterwards and did have to take a placement test but was still able to get accepted and had professors tell me I was MORE equipped for college than most. I graduated IU Kelley School of Business with my BA in teo concentrations: Management as well as Finance & Economics with a 3.23 GPA.

We love that there is a private Christian school option in our area that lines up with our values and morals. We love this school. The teachers are all very nice. So far the teachers my boys have had (pre-K and elementary) have all been really nice and do a great job of teaching my kids what they need to know not only in academics but also in spiritual matters, manners, and behavior. My boys LOVE going to school here!

Overall it was neutral. Nothing special, and one of the teachers had no idea what she’s even doing, and students constantly fail her class because she DOESN'T TEACH ANYTHING. If you don’t attend church there, you are made to feel like your not part of “the group”. Plenty of nonsensical rules about hair, appearance, clothing or facial hair are very enforced. No proms or dances are allowed to be attended... anything that doesn’t agree with their opinion (which is not based on God’s word) is unacceptable behavior. Academically speaking, their grammar is excellent, mathematics is not as enforced as it should be though the teacher was absolutely amazing, and science not at all. Taking the ACT I felt very unprepared...A beka isn’t a terrible curriculum, but it’s definitely not the best. Think wisely about sending your kids here, it’s a political higherarchy.

This school is non accredited and does not provide the same level of academic standards that you would see in a public school. It does not prepare students well for college or challenge them. The previous comment regarding the student that couldn't get into the college they wanted is accurate. None of their teachers even have a teaching license. You should think strongly about what options you want your child to have in the future before sending them here.
