Pinkham is making all the necessary changes to make it feel safe, welcoming, and accommodate their students in the classroom. I have seen tremendous growth in the last year.

My daughter has been at Pinkham for 3 years and we could not be happier. Each of her teachers have been caring, motivating, communicative, and just overall wonderful in general. We also love the after school program. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Pinkham

HORRIBLE. I am so thankful we are able to send my daughter to a different school.

I do not like how the school runs along a ditch. Along side the playground. Every morning and through out the day my husband runs off drug addicts. Today a man with his pants down was sitting watching the kids and shooting up herion. This does not make me feel safe for the children playing on the playground. They need to have someone running off the bad people when the children are outside playing.

This is in response to the two very negative reviews previously written. Having had two children educated at Pinkham and one currently there, I can honestly testify that these reviews are posted by disgruntled parents who add to the pool of uneducated humans who make life miserable for all others. Sadly, the school is different from a few years ago, but this is not due to administration or teachers. Pinkham has wonderful, caring teachers and staff who consistently strive to make this school a safe learning environment for all students.

Pinkham is a terrible school. We had a teacher call my daughter not Trustworthy when she asked why she didn't get the trustworthy award. Who says that to a kindergartner? She also falsified attendance records to get us in trouble after we went above the principal to the superintendent. Pinkham has been declining steadily with the current principal. It is evident in their test scores which are public record and can be found online. This school ranks lower than some north side schools!

The school that my children attend and are soon to be leaving is Pinkham Elementary in Visalia, CA. My oldest child suffers from Asperger's Syndrome and with this comes specific social complications. Although he is high functioning, he still needs some help in dealing with stressful situations; something this school has no shortage of. My son had a serious medical event on school grounds which I feel was NOT handled properly. Due to this and following events, I go to school with him every day to make sure that my son is safe. This school is extremely over burdened with students and under educated staff. Having been in the class from K-2 with my son, I can confidently say that the students are suffering. There is chaos in these classrooms. The teachers are non authoritative and therefore let the children do and say what they please. I have seen first hand of emotional abuse as teachers yell in the faces of kids, completely ignoring bullying, and allowing kids to run the classroom. It's ridiculous and appalling. All parents should be aware of what exactly is going on in their child's classroom. Drop in unexpectedly and see for yourself.
