My two boys thrived in this exceptional learning environment provided by this outstanding school! Their educational journey was nothing short of amazing, filled with enriching experiences that have undoubtedly contributed to their growth and development. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent seeking an unparalleled educational experience for their children. The dedication of the staff, the innovative teaching methods, and the nurturing atmosphere truly make it a gem in the realm of education.

Well we were amazed by the initial 10/10 rating and moved here, and it was pretty much good except experience with a first grade teacher who is now a fifth grade teacher. She doesnt understand kids come from different culture and socio economic backgrounds and was making the kid feel embarrassed and confused.People without empathy and patience should opt out of teaching profession in my opinion. We were so worried after she teached our kid in first grade .When we learned she has moved onto teaching fifth grade now,we moved out of the school,we were sure she wont change. There were some cool and teachers like Ms Kelly,Ms Mirra just like others commented.Another thing is unnecessary push for some special needs like ESL from school just because they get budget for that.Good things are PTA is really good and lot of fun activities and afterschool clubs.

Mrs Kelly, Mrs Frisbee, Mrs Phillips, Mrs Mirra and Mrs Klee are impressive teachers. They are top notch teachers who always have a positive attitude, are consistently nice to the kids, dont yell like some do, are fair with no favorites and actually email the parents back. We haven't had the best success in hearing from other teachers even after several email attempts. Mrs Graves is a wonderful art teacher who inspires all the children and isn't making them do art her way like the previous art teacher. She has many new exciting art projects and has become every child's favorite!!! I can't say much about the other specials teachers. We don't have experience with gifted or special needs teachers but I hear they have good programs. Impressive admin who are fair and effective. Everyone loves Mr. Baker. The school crossing guard as well as the office ladies could not be more friendly. Nurse G knows her stuff and is very organized. We love Kingston and while some teachers are less than exciting, overall it's a great school.

Probably the best in VB but not problem free. Probably better options if you want to pay for private school.

I can not believe this school is rated a 10. My daughter came with an IEP and the vice principle was extremely clueless about children with disabilities and rude. She pretty much told us my daughter would be reevaluated to prove she had a disability even though it was diagnosed by experts in another state. She took away all of her services. My daughter was also bullied in her class and her teacher was totally unaware. I am so happy we moved to another school in va beach that is 100 percent better. Do not look at this school as a 10 because it is not

We are disappointed. We moved to our neighborhood for this school. Between the lack of communication, no homework, strictness and lack of individual attention, we are looking into other options.

My son just finished 5th grade at Kingston Elementary, and in the 3 years he attended this school, all of the admin, teaching, and support staff we met were friendly, professional, and caring. Parent involvement at Kingston is the highest I've ever seen anywhere, which not only frees the teachers up so they can focus on teaching, but shows the kids that education is important. Kingston is the 'the village' that it takes to raise a child. Thanks, Kingston!

Kingston is the BEST! Having two children go through kindergarten to 5th grade I know they are well prepared for middle school. The staff excellences and they have a strong PTA and parent support within the school. It is nestled back into a neighborhood and has a family atmosphere. The teachers we have had are dear friends and still care about my children. We love and will miss Kingston dearly as our last graduates this year.

This is our third year at Kingston Elementary, and we couldn't be happier! Both of my children continue to excel and mature. The staff is supportive and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone from the front desk to the custodians are friendly and helpful. The school has a wonderful family type atmosphere and strong PTA involvement. My children feel especially secure due to the "no bully" policy. Plus, they have thoroughly enjoyed the Digital Learning Anchor Program this year which provides each student their own personal digital device to use throughout the year. My first grader even refers to the Principal as his "friend". Great School! I can't say enough.
