Our experience at this school was awesome. My kid learnt a lot and made great progress here at Bellamy Manor

I was at first surprised to learn that the Manor Schools (my understanding is that there are 4 in the area) have been around for 30 years with no advertising. Trusting my teaching friends, I enrolled my child and immediately became amazed with how quickly she learned so many academic concepts. After that, I enrolled my son, who also thrived. They attribute such to the individualized instruction for each student and teach to each student's level. Therefore, "pushing children to learn" is only based on the child's ability. Their friendly, warm reception with everyone who walks in, eases my guilt in having to leave my children for work obligation. The staff turnover is low, with teachers staying for years and the creditials of each (all teachers have Bachelor or Master degrees) is commendable. This speaks volumes in itself! This school is an excellent school and many children have gone on to either private schools or the gifted schools in the area. A true gem.

Both of our children have been fortunate enough to attend Bellamy Manor. Our son was in a part time program from ages 3-5 and our daughter has been a full time student from ages 3-6. Both of them truly thrived as students there and most of the teachers are really wonderful and easy to work with. They really care about the children and helping them to be their best. The variety of afternoon add-on programs are a nice benefit as well. Our daughter has enjoyed the dance program with Center Stage Dance Company. The school is constantly improving, adding new equipment to the playground and new technology in the classroom. This school is pricey, and the tuition costs tend to rise each year, but it's been worth it in our opinion. You are definitely paying for quality. Our kids have loved Bellamy Manor and we are sad that this will be our final year there.Classes fill up quickly, so register as soon as possible if you want to get your child into the best preschool in Virginia Beach! I believe registration for new families begins in February.
