{Unwelcoming and Lacking Passion} READ THE FOLLOWING;1)Poor upkeep on the Landscaping. (is money an issue? How about get the kids involved, this would help To build a foundation on why it's important to take care of what we have and to maintain it) *future incentive 2)Unwelcoming. (Rarely does staff make eye contact and greet you) Not only do I find that odd, but if I'm leaving my child with you on a weekly basis then please let me feel a bit more welcomed and comforted. 3)Lacking Passion/School spirit (There is little to no enthusiasm when it comes to main events or holiday events, or school spirit week. The staff has a monotone attitude towards it. This is truly sad, how will kids care if you don't. LEAD BY EXAMPLE. 4)Incompetent Teacher Aides(I have witnessed children get hurt numberous times for lack of supervision! They lack effective strategies and Instead SCREAM AND YELL AT STUDENTS, This is a safety concern and One day a parent will truly make this a legal issue if nothing is to be done about it. Either have your aides take training courses or hire better aides. Do something! Overall, I know there are some great teachers who work here and truly love what they do. But the main person overseeing these teachers and staff need to make Dane Barse brand new again. There is such a monotone, "blah" feel to this school and the children of the future acquire more than that in such a world we live In today. Please make change! Wake up and see! Our children are our future they depend on us to LEAD BY EXAMPLE! MY source is : I work here.

This is the school that my son went to and the school has very good teachers.
