I love teaching at River Ridge. I have been teaching for 23 years and have never experienced such a great staff and student environment. If you are looking for a school to challenge and welcome your child, I would highly recommend River Ridge.

This school, the teachers, staff, community; it's amazing! I graduated from this school in early 2021, and I've attended at this school from 2016-2021 (1st Grade - 5th Grade), making me a former student here.Learning:Students at this school always feel excited about what they're learning! For younger students, teachers typically use rhymes and fun games for them to remember things easier and make them more prepared for testing. For example, in 3rd grade math, my teacher used songs to memorize multiplication facts throughout the year. It's different from grade to grade but it's very fun and engaging! I loved to go to school everyday because of this. Teaching:The teachers here are beyond amazing. They have always been respectful and supportive to every student and motivates each and every one of us to learn and grow more. They explain topics very well, as it was always easy for me to understand what they are teaching us. They also educate us on being respectful to each other and each class really felt like family. Safety: River Ridge definitely provides students a safe environment to learn. We practice fire, earthquake, tornado, and even violent individual drills so that we know what to do and what to expect in a harmful situation. And, there are cameras all over the campus and inside buses to monitor student and staff behavior.Social-Emotional:River Ridge will always provide this support. You can always reach out to teachers and other staff whenever you need help! We take bullying and harsh statements seriously, so all you need to do is ask. Family Engagement:This school has many events which involve families to come to the school. It's very fun and engaging! Overall, this school has given me the best experience I have ever asked for. I'm really grateful for the staff for making this happen!

Absolutely zero tolrence to ignorance at that school. I wouldn't send my dog there. The principal and the assiant principal need to be relieved of. There job. Principal covered one teacher in particular. Crimal charges needs to be brought against them. If any body ever experienced this we need to talk. This school is unacceptable and needs to be shut down and hire people with some common sense and stay out of the students home life.

we moved from India recently and our daughter did just great on her 4th grade. Thanx to the teacher, the staff and personal supportive teachers who have given her hope she could be part of the growth. The school is always striving to be better and better and teach the right skill, talent and attitude. Shari's Parent

Just wanted a little info about what is going at River Ridge. Went to a bridal shower and asked "what is going on at River Ridge, heard they are busing children in from everywhere, this is about the tenth time I have been asked in the last month. I know that parents are not happy with the current principal, but is this something that I really have to be concerned about? Would love some input, thanks.

My daughter has been at river ridge since Kindergarten. At first, I was very happy with the school. Her kindergarten teacher was fantastic. As she progressed through the grades however, she has complained to me multiple times that she wanted to be more challenged in reading and spelling. I have talked to the teachers and they have done little to nothing to address the situation so I have had to challenge her at home. I am hoping this year will be different. It is a good school, but there are certainly some downfalls.
