    As many will tell you, this school is not what it once was. Before enrolling here, do your research. Teachers don't stay. Students don't stay. Families are left traumatized by the vindictiveness of the leadership. There are so many good schools to choose from in Northern VA. Save yourself the grief and look elsewhere.

    This is a wonderful school. We have been here for two years and it’s exactly what we were looking for. It’s hard to find a Christian school that encourages your child to think for themselves. But Lorien Wood nurtures a curiosity about the world, science and culture. We love the emphasis on outdoor and integrative learning. Our daughter moved to Lorien Wood from another school that was not challenging her enough academically. We have seen her flourish here. Highly recommend!
