    Unfortunately some teachers here are just unfair, and the assistant principal is no help whatsoever. I guess you can find this at any school, not just Vickers. Maybe with the new principal this year will be different. The young man before her seemed unconcerned with the obvious favoritism. Fingers crossed!

    The principal could not care less about your problems. Certain teachers cause students performance anxiety and instead of helping students get ahead they will just mark the student -5 to the deaths, causing more performance anxiety because the student is so focused on being perfect and doing good that it affects their ability to actually learn and succeed in the classroom. They say they don't want students to fall through the cracks, but they're the ones causing the cracks. Teachers are supposed to be helpful, not antagonistic. If a student is lagging behind in certain areas, why not help them and a spend a little more time with them instead of -5 the student to death? NO KID LEARNS THE SAME WAY OR AT THE SAME PACE AS THE OTHERS. THIS SCHOOL HAS ABSOLUTELY NO GRACE AND NO HEART. JUST ANOTHER JOB FOR THEM.

    Best elementary school in town by far.
