    My daughter attended this school from kindergarten to fourth grade. She was always excited to go to school each morning and always had something positive to say when school ended each afternoon. The principal Mr. Hoy is simply awesome and genuinely cares about the students. The teachers are outstanding as well. She is moving up to 5th grade and will be attending a different school in the usd 262 district this year and has said how much she will miss Abilene. Wonderful school in the district!

    Great school, great teachers, great community. The children have music and PE on a daily basis. They emphasize health, fitness, and creativity. The school is very involved in the community, and has great parent support. The counselor speaks with kids on a regular basis about anti-bullying and doing good things for others.
