- Submitted by parent on November 01, 2012I love this school so far. My daughter is in Pre-K and I have seen such growth in her education as well as social development. She is a bright child and they challenge her daily. She also comes home singing christian songs. I am so pleased and impressed, and that is a lot coming from me. This is her first year being there, but thank heavens....so far..so good!
- Submitted by parent on September 09, 2012Canaan Academy is not a 5 star school. It is more like a one star school. There was one year they did not pay their teachers the full contract amount, but only paid the few teachers coming back for the next year, As a parent, I will not be sending my children to Canaan because they lack honesty and integrity. The Superintendent and the principal are father & son, and they do everything under the table, and they are not open to changes.
- Submitted by parent on August 01, 2011Canaan Academy is an Excellent school. The teachers are well qualified and will go out of their way to help the students in the school. I would definately recommend this school to parents. The school provides great structure and the students are well behaved.
- Submitted by other on April 19, 2010Canaan is a Christian base school with an excellent curriculum. The the students are in the 97% percentile. The administrators and teachers are not only concern about the students getting the very best education possible, the are also concerned about the children in general. Many of the students can speak 3 or more languages by the time the reach 4th grade.
