Upper Sandusky is a small rural district, but they are doing some excellent work at USMS! The teachers are sharp, caring, and compassionate. The music programs are outstanding. And you can really feel the school spirit when you walk into the building. My daughter (who is now in high school) came to USMS in sixth grade from a K-6 building, and the teachers and students helped her fit in from day one. Both of my kids have loved going to USMS. It's a great little school!

Upper Sandusky South school is uncooperative it fails to provide parent with all due information and documents. The school fails to file incident reports even when skin is broken or a child is attacked and defends himself. Other schools file reports even if a child is pushed out of line and pushes back to regain his place. This school does not want people to know the truth so they only present the good. They also will redo papers that are failed so the school reports better grades of it students.

Union Elementary School receives an excellent rating it my book. The staff is outstanding! We have the best music program around with many students joining band and choir in middle and high school, as well as drama club. Our music teachers have years of experience teaching kids their love of music. Our arts department has guided students and taught them skills that are beyond their years. Union School cares about its students' emotional well-being and has a wonderful guidance counselor, Mrs. Alison Cheney who ensures that all students feel comfortable with themselves at school and at home. The teachers, paraprofessionals and administration work hard to ensure your children receive the best education everyday. Meeting and exceeding common core standards in education is essential to your child's education. Teachers and principals constantly attend inservices and take additional classwork to make sure they exceed the standard in education. Our custodians keep the school looking great, which is not an easy task. Union Elementary and Middle School is the place I choose to send all four of my children. I would not go anywhere else!!!!
