I graduated from Dexter back in '91. I absolutely loved going to this school. Granted it is small but that is a good thing, you have a better studented teacher ratio. I moved here in '86 from a big school in Louisiana. My Jr. High school was bigger than Tylertown High. My son is about to enter school and my daughter is going into second grade. My daughter is really doing well and I have no problems. But I do have to wonder with the test scores that have been coming in. Sounds like there is a problem with the teachers and parents. The classrooms are small enough so there is no reason that the students are not excelling in there studies. Please teachers get serious and parents you need to do your share and make sure your son or daughter is applying themselves, not causing problems, and studying. Please lets work together and bring this school back to what it was. I would love for my children to also graduate from this school.
