The principal here is the worst out of everything, multiple students have been getting harassed by other students and they won’t do anything about it. Instead of helping with a student having mental breakdown he told her to have a good day and gave her a thumbs up. You have to have status here just to be respected. When I went to this school I was constantly lied about small things. All my friends who went there absolutely hates how they are treated and how people who have popularity gets away with it because their parents are wealthy or well known. Let’s not forgot the constant threats the school has been getting, no one can even feel safe there anymore, especially when they don’t feel like they can go to their own administration.

My son graduated from Turtle Lake and it was a great experience for him. The high academic standards helped him do well in college and in now in physicians assistant school. Academics and extra curricular are well mixed and helped my son succeed.

Three of our four children have graduated from Turtle Lake High School. Our youngest is now a Junior. My husband and I have been happy with the overall education. Turtle Lake has done an awesome job keeping our students learning during the pandemic. The administration, teachers, support staff, etc, have a heart for the students. The small town atmosphere is a great environment for a child to learn and grow. School is well kept. Classrooms are neat. Has a better than average fitness center, pool, climbing rock wall. Very nice library. Each student has their own Chromebook available to them.

Turtle Lake School is full of positive students and staff. I am very proud to be a teacher in this district and a part of this community. The small size of our district allows us as teachers to keep a close eye on each one of our students. By doing this the students get the necessary help and attention they may need.
