I graduated in the 2010s and have since become an educator myself. When I reflect upon my high school education, I can fully understand the emphasis on sports that other reviews mention. Very strict dress code that specifically targets young women. Condescending, aggressive, and excessive punishments for minor infractions. "I'll make an example out of you" style of discipline. My teachers were a mixed bag. Some fantastic and others simply embarrassing members of this community. The test scores are high because if they do not like you/your child, you will be ostracized and ambushed until you leave. Friend groups are highly clique-ish, making it nearly impossible for new students to find roots here. Minimal class offerings.

Terrible place school asks for money constantly but the students never have anything nice seems like they raise all this money every year and it goes straight to football or the school administration pocket grossly overpaid under qualified teachers that treat everyone horrible students unhappy teachers unhappy just an unhappy little dump of a place

This school doesn’t offer any foreign language, computer, higher math, robotics, or any advanced classes. They may say they do, but its expected you attend TCC concurrently or take online. My kids talked of days spent watching movies in class, or playing on phone all of class because they weren’t given anything to do. Its focus is sports and attending the same church everyone goes to, very cookie cutter small town community.

I have seen the decline growing steadily. Higher level classes do not have qualified teachers. Students have no interest in learning and are disruptive to the classrooms. Disrespect between teachers and students. Sports seems to be the main focus for parents and administration. Sad little community really.

My child came home everyday with more homework than was possible to finish before their bedtime. Good teachers just not given the tools they need to teach adequately. They ask for money every week. My kids had a horrible experience at this school, I would not recommend this school to anyone.

Very clique-y - even the parents. Despite the small size, my child was never given any individual attention.

This school has truly failed my children in nearly every way since they have moved into middle school and high school. We have had one or more kids in the district for eleven years. Both children are gifted or natonal honor society students. There are few to none electives in computer programming, technology, advanced maths or science. The district's solution is to take those courses through indpendent study online. One child has such trouble finding a trustworthy administrator, the child found it hard to return. It feels unsafe to the kids because of the many unresponsive or dismissed concerns brought to to the school's attention. High test scores on state tests do not a pleasant learning environment make! Many great people work in the district and live in the community.
