- Submitted by parent on August 02, 2015My son has been at The Beginning School for three years and absolutely loves it there!! And, as a parent, I couldn't be happier with the teachers and what my child is learning. I highly recommend the beginning school!
- Submitted by parent on September 14, 2014The Beginning School could be a great school but sadly it is lacking in leadership. The facilty is charming but rundown. The classrooms are dated and dirty. The teachers are fine but lack any curriculum or guidelines.
- Submitted by parent on August 16, 2014For many years, this school has been run by a very poor/nonavailable/noninvolved owner/administrator. But the teachers were so absolutely fantastic, across the board, that parents have happily put up with the "director" for the best Preschool and Kinder classroom experiences in the city. But the last few years the issues due to poor management have gotten notably worse (ratio of staff to kids before and after school, availability of supplies, safety issues with access to the school, and complete lack of response to parents, who have to write LETTERS and send them to the director via an unempowered office staff) that the very best teachers are leaving. It's a travesty, as our experience, due to teachers, was magical. Ask who is in charge. If it's Betsy, find another school.
