We are very happy with our daughter's academic success. We have noticed a positive change in her development. She loves going to school and she loves her teacher. Some parents think that the education of our children is 100% the teacher's responsibility, but it doesn't work that way.Teachers are of great support to us. But it is my responsibility as a parent to teach our daughter not to bother other students. It is my responsibility that my daughter know how to behave in class. It is my responsibility to check my daughter's backpack every day.It is my as well as my daughter's responsibility to comply with homework assignments.A good foundation, respect and education, start at home.We are very grateful to the school for helping us get the best from our daughter. I don't think there are bad schools. I think it's the work of teachers, parents and students working together to obtain the desired academic success.

My school experience has been horrible there they just don’t want to get involved to help with bullying or other issues that go on there but they will be involved in trying to make kids think badly upon people that care and love them. No help at all if you say there is an issue there w teasing and bullying they will not fix it at all.

Moved over from the flowing wells school district and brought this school a gifted child and with in months they turned him into a child who is now below the bar. This is our first and last year at Miller Elementary. 2 out of 10 for sure.

After transferring my daughter here from another horrible school, her grades have sky rocketed! She is in 4th grade reading at a 9th grade level! She loves going to school everyday . She loves her teachers, the office staff, and especially the principals! I have never seen her so happy and eager to learn.

my son and daughter attend miller and i have been disappointed with how some teachers are rude and treat the kids. have seen some teachers just be so mean and ugly to students. the principal is very nice and i believe she tries hard to have a good school but a lot of the staff def needs to be trained better and respect their student more. no bullying rules apply to teachers swell as the students!!

The changes at Miller have been great! The principal has been outstanding and she is driven to make Miller a better school. My children love the school and have been doing very well the last couple of years. I've had no issues volunteering there and I've had no issues with teachers just unrealistic parents. Miller is on the right track in my opinion. Keeping hiring great teachers!

Miller is a great school! I'm so happy they have an outstanding principal that is pushing the school in the right direction. She is so nice! My kids have been doing very well the last couple of years and are excited to go to school each and every day. I've had no issues with teachers or volunteering... just unrealistic parents. Please keep hiring great teachers and staff. Change has been great for Miller!

This school has had so many changes. It's been a disappointing expereince with some of the teaching staff. My child's teachers rarely greets parents and discourages parents from volunteering. Furthermore there are several monitors who yell at children and I've seen a view handle them inappropriately.

It's not easy dealing with kids of all different ages and walks of life. I feel that the teachers at Miller Elementary have shown much patience and interest in their students and are doing a great job. My daughter is in kindergarden and can already read and count. Thank you and great job Mrs. Figueroa and Miller Elementary.

Too crowded and lack of discipline. Also, teachers with little experience. (Review based on 2007 experience.) 2009-2010 they got a great teacher Ms. Garbini so maybe things are better now.
